this was such a good thing to read! thank you! Yes, our God is still with us, no matter what is happening. I am praying for everyone too... Lord have mercy on us, come quick to save us!

My prayers join with yours, Elizabeth! So glad to hear from you, Friend! <3

God is on His throne. I'm praying for all involved in the disasters. We have ash falling on us and have had "hazardous" air quality for days now in Spokane. Thank you for your beautiful post today.

Beautiful post - that is my devotional for the day. We live well north of Houston but got 30 inches and some wind; however we are in the hills of Sam Houston National Forest, so no flooding here and only a small leak, and I am so full of gratitude. My heart was broken and continues to break for those who lost so much in Rockport and Houston and Beaumont. People say "all we can do is pray" but the truth is that praying is all we should do.

We have the same here, Betsy. Praying for rain and snow! Thank you for your sweet comment. <3

Agreed, Linda! I am so glad you didn't have flooding there where you are. Texans feel each other's pain, I think. :) Thank you so much for commenting, Linda. <3
